The Team

The Global QA Team at FlexTrade is a fast-growing team and vital function of our business. We are a group of ‘get it done’ builders and visionaries that are focused and strategically minded. Although we are a small team, we leverage our cross-functional expertise to deliver quality service to our stakeholders from strategy through execution.

About you:

We are looking for enthusiastic freshers who are keen to start their career in Investment Banking / Wealth Management domain testing. The role involves testing front-office trading applications and working closely with global teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Candidates with strong analytical skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn financial systems and testing tools are encouraged to apply.

• Assist in testing front-office trading applications.

• Learn and understand front-office trading workflows, including the trade lifecycle

• Support testing activities related to Order Management Systems (OMS) and Portfolio Management Systems (PMS)

• Collaborate with project owners and stakeholders across India, US, and APAC regions

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

• Execute test cases, report defects, and track issues using JIRA

• Perform basic testing activities on Unix/Linux environments

• Document test scenarios, test cases, and test results clearly

• Ask relevant questions, analyze issues, and contribute to problem-solving discussions

• Support multiple testing projects under guidance from senior team members

   

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field

2. Basic understanding or academic exposure to:

• Investment Banking / Wealth Management concepts

• Trade lifecycle and financial markets

• Equity, Fixed Income, or other basic asset classes

• Knowledge of software testing fundamentals (manual testing concepts preferred)

• Familiarity with testing terminologies, processes, and SDLC/STLC

• Basic exposure to Agile methodology

• Awareness or hands-on practice with JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools

• Fundamental knowledge of Unix/Linux commands

• Basic understanding of SQL queries (preferred)

• Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
