What will you be doing:

As an Assoc. Software Engineer, you will collaborate with APAC development and implementation team to develop, implement, maintain, and debug trading systems for financial institutions - top asset managers and hedge funds in the world, who use our flagship products FlexTRADER (EMS) and FlexOne (OMS).

Responsibilities

• Design and development of Exchange gateways, Market data processing adaptors and front-end GUIs. This requires the candidate to learn the business requirement and implement them for both backend and frontend of the system.
• Implement solutions for integrating Flextrade Buy-Side product across multiple clients. This involves overall software deployment along with support and maintenance of the client system.
• Constantly build tools and scripts to automate the installation and troubleshooting of the system.
• Come up with New Product/Enhancement Ideas based on the experience with the clients and assist in the development and refinement of product and software requirements.
• Take ownership of specific modules within the system and work on fixing bugs and making enhancements in those modules, thus contributing to the product release process.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or higher with 1-2 years of work experience as a software engineer. Freshers also welcome if they have sound coding skills.
• In-depth knowledge in one of the common coding languages; C/C++, Java, or Python.
• Basic knowledge about software development cycle and processes.
• Linux knowledge will be an added advantage.
