Who we are seeking

The Director of Billing we seek is someone with experience in billing within a high-growth, high-volume tech company, someone who is able to communicate clearly across departments, someone with the ability to maximize efficiency and someone with previous management experience.

Within 1 month, you will...

  • Gain a broader understanding of our products, revenue streams and how your role fits into the organization.
  • Have a deep understanding of the Finance team's goals and key objectives and the impact our work has on FlexTrade's overall business objectives.

Within 3 months, you will...

  • Be proficient using FlexTrade's sales tools (SalesForce), and billing software (GoTransverse) to create, and approve invoices [LC1]
  • Fully own all areas of Billing and oversight of the team responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to troubleshoot subscription oddities and discrepancies
  • Create billing close calendars for monthly, quarterly, and annual billing

Within 6 months, you will...

  • Monitor key Billing metrics, and team goals

Within 12 months, you will...

  • Be a go-to-billing contact for all areas of the business
  • Be leading a Billing team which continues to be more effective and efficient then it was twelve months ago


  • The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 10 years of billing experience including interaction with a large customer base.
  • Previous billing experience at a SaaS company, or other industry with contract-based revenue/billing.
  • Expertise with Salesforce
  • Manage a small team of billing specialists
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills required
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related business degree
