The Opportunity

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure & Operations Engineer to join the Paris team.

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of both traditional and cloud infrastructures, with a high level of autonomy on standard operational tasks, while being supported on more complex or critical topics.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Operations (core responsibilities)

• Operate and maintain traditional and Cloud infrastructures, including Windows and Linux servers, and virtualized environments (VMware or equivalent)

• Ensure day‑to‑day stability, availability and performance of infrastructure components

• Perform routine system administration tasks: patching, updates, maintenance and documentation

• Participate in infrastructure changes and continuous improvement initiatives

• Apply Infrastructure as Code changes using Terraform, following established standards

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and system‑level issues across multiple platforms

• Implement and improve Cloud operational practices

Monitoring, Support & Incident Management

• Monitor infrastructure and applications using existing monitoring tools (Zabbix and related solutions)

• Act as Level 2 / Level 3 support on infrastructure‑related incidents within a defined scope and escalation process

• Investigate incidents, contribute to root cause analysis and incident reports

• Escalate complex or high‑risk issues appropriately

Automation & Tooling

• Develop, maintain and improve automation scripts and tools, primarily using PowerShell

• Automate recurring operational tasks to improve reliability and reduce manual actions

• Contribute to improving operational procedures and documentation

Collaboration & Client Interaction

• Work closely with Development, QA and Support teams during incidents, releases and changes

• Participate in technical discussions with internal teams and, when required, external clients

• Assist with client technical onboarding, under guidance

Security & Compliance

• Apply established security standards and operational procedures across infrastructures

• Contribute to vulnerability remediation, hardening and security improvement initiatives

• Participate in audit‑related and compliance activities under supervision

Required

• Demonstratable experience in infrastructure, systems or operations roles in production environments

• Solid experience with Windows Server and Linux

• Good understanding of infrastructure fundamentals

• Hands‑on experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell required)

• Experience with AWS Cloud and IaC using Terraform

• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix or equivalent)

• Comfortable working in structured, production‑critical environments

• Able to communicate professionally in English and in French

Nice to Have

• Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms

• Exposure to financial services or trading environments

• Knowledge of security hardening or compliance‑driven environments
