About You:

The Manager - Sales Strategy & Business Operations will report to the Global Lead, Sales Strategy & Business Operations. The individual will be a self-starter, with a hands-on consultative management style with proven structured approach to identify, initiate, manage & control multiple short to medium term business initiatives and projects

The individual will be responsible for working across functions and bring operational expertise to enable key global transformation initiatives. This role will be at the forefront in managing the change initiatives to accelerate growth, with a focus on key commercial functions – sales and client services

Job requirements

Business Operations

  • Partner with multiple functional and line of business individuals globally including but not limited to: Sales, Client Services, Marketing, HR and Finance
  • Reinforce and maintain key operational metrics, market intelligence and improvement programs.
  • Facilitate workshops/sprints for project management and tracking
  • Vendor management
  • Data management – Ensure Salesforce, LinkSquares and other tool data is up to date. Relevant reports and dashboards are readily available for management

Sales Operations

  • Work closely with sales team members to monitor the performance metrics and initiatives to ensure sales organization success
  • Ensure new initiatives are being monitored and tracked diligently based on feedback from sales
  • Identify top market/competitor trends in terms of sales and operations best practices to ensure our project/initiatives portfolio is prioritizing the right initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for sales process improvement and foster an environment continuous improvement.

Client Service Operations

  • Work closely with Client Services to capture client/broker feedback, analyze, synthesize, and present key pain-points and improvement opportunities resulting in project pipeline and prioritization
  • Analyze the end-to-end client services experience to identify and prioritize key issues and opportunities
  • Prioritize implantation of automated solutions through SalesForce and help to prioritize roadmap initiatives based on business and client impact
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and foster an environment of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Business Administration or other affiliated specialties like Engineering, MBA, or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years in progressive functional business and/or operations roles with demonstrated experience in project management and/or sales improvement or transformation
  • Management/technology/business transformation and strategy consulting experience
  • Previous experience working in a financial service and/or technology company. Familiarity with Trading and Order/Execution Management Systems and/or subscription-based business models a plus
  • High proficiency in project management & analytical and data visualization tools such as advanced Excel, Tableu, MS Projects, Thinkcell etc. – Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar CRMs – Familiarity with other tools/solutions such as LinkSquares - Contract Lifecycle Management, Jira etc is preferred
  • Knowledge of latest AI trends and its implementation in business operations is desirable
  • Ability to convey confidence, respect and trust, as well as maintain confidentiality of all company information
  • Strong ability to drive and manage global projects to completion, communicating a clear vision, while effectively managing different stakeholders
  • Highly motivated and dependable - able to work both strategically and hands-on
  • Passion for innovative business solutions and process improvement.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
