Project Manager

Job Specifications:
The qualified candidate will research, design, document and prioritize features for Equity trading applications. The individual will be able to create business and system requirements for enhancements to existing trading applications and also spearhead new initiatives. The candidate will possess the ability to research and document market needs for new features, to describe those features as business requirements, and to transform those features into use cases which describe how a trading application should operate.

Job Description:

• Gather and document new features and feature requests for OEMS trading applications

• Systematically enforce Project Management methodologies and best practices

• Actively engage with clients and internal stakeholders to drive project and implementation efforts

• Coordinate delivery of system use cases and business requirements in format needed for development to execute the project

• Ability to update management on the status of projects which are underway and suggest next priorities

• Sales support when product specific knowledge is needed in conversations with clients

• Ability to create detailed project plan, documentation and milestones for client-based projects

• Prioritization of key features and creation of deliverable timeline

• Clearly create business requirements based on conversations with partners, customers and users

Knowledge / Experience / Skills:

• 4-5 years’ experience with Information Systems knowledge and managing / delivering such projects

• Preferably has PM certification such as PMP or PRINCE2

• Working knowledge of financial markets and foreign exchange processes such as trade execution, order management, risk management, portfolio management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with colleagues and customers
