Senior Computer Network and Systems Engineer provides cross-functional expertise to deliver quality service and solutions to our stakeholders from strategy through to execution and support IT systems to deliver FlexTrade’s solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in implementation and administration of network solutions.
• Plan, design and implement complex IP Networks in a datacenter environment.
• Assess and re-design existing environments/networks to ensure maximum network uptime.
• Strong working knowledge in vulnerability assessment, Network Audits & Performance
• Configuring & Managing Network Devices such as switches, routers and firewalls.
• Managing Security Appliances like Fortigate, Cisco ASA, Firepower and other security technologies like NMS, VPN, IDS and IPS.
• Troubleshoot core, distribution and access switches in LAN and WAN network.
• Configure static, dynamic Routing and Inter VLAN communication on Routers and switches.
• Identify and analyze network gaps and conduct network performance tests.
• Manage security and infrastructure solutions using firewalls.
• Configuration of failover, load balancing, bandwidth management and gateways.
• Experience with anti-virus and content filtering with firewalls.
• Installation, configuration and securing FortiGate, Cisco ASA and other firewalls.
• Perform regular backup of devices and author network diagrams.
• You can review existing operational processes to improve scalability and reliability.
• Network monitoring and performance tuning.
• Provide technical support on routers, switches and firewalls.
• Provide support to clients directly and resolve issues for them.

• A degree in a related field, such as Computer Science
• 5 – 7 Years of experience in network design, build and support.
• IT networking Industry certification (CCNP / CCIE, ITIL etc.)
• A passion for staying up to date with the very latest updates about networking and solutions.
• Solid troubleshooting skills, good communications skills, both written and oral, ability to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment built on multi-vendor security controls.
