About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Service Management (ITSM) Engineer to join our SaaS team. This senior-level role will focus on leading the implementation, management, and architectural design of ITSM and ITOM tools and processes, with an emphasis on ServiceNow and monitoring platform administration and leadership. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced expertise in ITSM platform architecture, hands-on ServiceNow experience, and proven leadership in managing ITSM teams and initiatives within a regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural design, implementation, and management of ITSM platforms, with primary responsibility for ServiceNow administration and optimization.
Oversee and mentor ITSM team members, providing direction and leadership for platform initiatives and process improvements.
Perform and delegate routine configuration changes, upgrades, and patching across ITSM platforms, ensuring best practices are followed
Conduct regular audits and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the ITSM ecosystem.
Ensure platform stability, performance, and security through proactive health checks, maintenance, and architectural enhancement.
Integrate and manage monitoring tools to provide real-time visibility into IT assets and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT processes, service delivery, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies.
Deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards to IT leadership, presenting analysis and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
5-7 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience, including configuration, integration, and platform optimization.
2-3 years in a lead or management role overseeing ITSM platform teams and initiatives.
6+ years of ITSM experience (FinTech preferred), with a strong background in enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
Proven expertise in ITSM and ITOM frameworks (e.g., ITIL), with practical experience designing and implementing ITSM architectures.
Demonstrated management, leadership, and team development skills within an ITSM context.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
Extensive experience with Lansweeper, SolarWinds, OpsRamp, and certificate management.
Preferred Skills
ITIL v4 certification or equivalent recognized ITSM qualification.
Advanced ServiceNow architectural design and platform development skills.
Strong scripting proficiency (PowerShell, JavaScript, Python) for automation and process enhancement.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and experience ensuring ITSM platform compliance.
Expertise in CMDB design, maintenance, and integration within complex IT environments.
Demonstrated success leading ITSM platform transformation initiatives and cross-functional teams.
