The Team
The Development Team at FlexTrade is a fast-growing team and a vital function of our business. We are a group of ‘get it done’ builders and visionaries who are client-focused and strategically minded. Although we are a small team, we leverage our cross-functional expertise to deliver quality campaigns to our stakeholders from strategy through execution.

We're looking for candidates who love building things from end to end. As a full stack Software Developer, you'll work across the frontend and backend to ship web applications that real users depend on. This is a hands-on role where you'll learn fast, take ownership early, and grow alongside a team that cares about quality.

What You'll Do

• Build, deploy and maintain web applications across the full stack, from user-facing interfaces to backend services and APIs

• Collaborate across teams to drive adoption and feedback.

• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews

• Debug, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the systems you build

• Learn new tools and technologies quickly as the product and stack evolve

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Strong foundation in core computer science concepts — data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and databases

• Hands-on experience building web applications, both frontend and backend — through internships, projects, coursework, or personal work

• Frontend experience in React or Angular

• Backend experience in Python and/or Golang

• Exposure to at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to breaking down complex problems

• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate well in a team

• A fast learner who's curious, self-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Bonus Points

• Experience working with AI or LLM-based applications

• Familiarity with building MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers

• Understanding of context engineering and prompt design

• Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of side projects

• Familiarity with containers (Docker or Podman)
