About you:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer/Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise working on Linux and cloud computing environments, enabling robust and scalable data solutions. Proficiency in Python is essential, along with SQL and a solid foundation in object-oriented programming.

The role requires advanced analytics capabilities, with a strong understanding of statistical methods for data-driven decision-making. The candidate should be experienced in data collection, database management systems (DBMS) principles, as well as various tools and platforms for handling structured and unstructured data.

Key Skills

• Designing and implementing data pipelines from capture to analytics.

• Designing and implementing effective data visualization for analysis and reporting.

• Applying practical machine learning techniques to solve business problems and demonstrating strong aptitude and effective communication skills.

• The successful candidate will also contribute to and lead projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Solid experience of 2+ years with Linux and cloud computing platforms

• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with Golang.

• Proficiency in SQL and bash/shell scripts

• Demonstrated expertise in advanced analytics and statistical methods

• Knowledge of data collection techniques and DBMS principles, tools, and platforms

• Hands-on experience with big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.)

• Ability to create insightful data visualizations for analysis and reporting

• Practical understanding of machine learning concepts and implementation

• Excellent aptitude and effective communication skills
